I am interested in finding any information about Ditton Priors Royal Navy Armaments Depot in Shropshire.
The depot was built in 1941 and was controlled by the admiralty up to 1965. the site is now used as industrial estate and many of the buildings are used by a fireworks importer and supplier.
many of the buildings have not been altered at all.
the armament was transported by light railway to Kidderminster
at one point roughly 500 people worked at the depot which is situated in a small village below the Brown Clee Hill
any information or leads would be much appreciated
