I’m back again having typed up all the various information you have kindly given, printing and then distributing copies to various brothers & sisters.  They were thrilled.  Now for the second half of the project.

Pop re-entered service in 1938/39 – his first ship being HMS Speedwell.  The site you gave previously regarding this ship was wonderful, such detail.  Unfortunately having looked at such a website when looking for his next minesweeper HMS Goatfell there appears to be little information, if any! You did say that she was ex. Caledonia.  Do you have any knowledge of her whereabouts from early December 1939 until February 1941?  We did find out that like so many she was part of Operation Dynamo.  As always we look forward to your reply.
