Can anyone please give advice on where the records are kept of inmates at Gt Yarmouth, where those who died there are buried and if they were given a standard death certificate?  According to his service record my husband's grandfather died there in 1926 but I can find no trace of his death anywhere.

Hi
Just read your note

you could try the Norfolk Records Office  /  link as follows

http://www.archives.norfolk.gov.uk/nroindex.htm

When visiting NRO I have always found the staff there very helpful - if you are unable to go there personally try email or phone - perhaps they can point you in the right direction for your quest
