Any info on H.M.S Tyne and H.M.S. Tamar would be greatly appreciated.

There has been no "Hogue class", the name Hogue has been used three time for ships of the RN, the last being a destroyer of 1945.

You don't give any dates, but I presume it was WW2, so TYNE - a destroyer depot ship, built by Scotts, launched 1940 and commissioned 2.1941.  She served at Scapa Flow 1941-44 then to the Pacific Fleet 1944-46. Returned UK and at Harwich 1946-48; Devonport 1949-50.... etc.etc... she remained in service until scrapped in 1972

TAMAR - not a ship but a place; it was the shore base at Hong Kong until 1941 and then again from 1945 until closed  in 1997
