My grandfather was in the RN during ww2. I have his service record and the only posting I cannot find any information on is for Valkapol 2. If anyone knows if this was a shore base or a vessel, I would be interested to know

I can find no trace of any ship or shore base with that name- the nearest I can find is Valkyrie II ..... are you sure it is correct ?
