Hello all
On behalf of my wife's grandfather, Roy Warren of Westcliff on Sea, Essex, I would like to ask whether anyone has any recollection of LCT 1008, a tank landing craft based at Southampton at the time of D Day.
During the Normandy landings I believe LCT 1008 was part of the 37th Flotilla and carried Canadian servicemen to Juno beach.
I appreciatre that details are very sketchy at the moment but I will fill in the gaps when I can

Thanks in anticipation.
