My great grandfather was a boy first class on HMS Cressy in the 1861 census.  However I cannot find any information about this vessel in the 19th century.  Can anyone help?

CRESSY was a steam assisted 3rd rate.
Built at Chatham launched 21 July 1853
2573 tons  198.5ft x 55ft
fully rigged ship (ie 3 masts) with a 400nhp Maudsley steam engine
armed: 14 x 8in, 66 x 32 pdr guns

She served in the Mediterranean 1858-61.

She was sold for breaking up in 1867
