I have an association with an observatory in Australia whose founder supplied to the Royal Navy, during WWII, Aldus Signal Lamp reflectors and sighting telescopes, and also copper/asbestos fuse gaskets for 3.5 inch naval artillery. The business was K Beames Engineering - the sighting telescopes and reflectors are marked "Made in Australia by K Beames Sydney". I'm trying to find records of what the company supplied during the war. Are there any lists of contractors or available archives where this information might be found?
