I am writing an account of the Royal Navy's involvement in the Suez Crisis of 1956.  I was in HMS Buttress, L4099, and would love to hear from anyone who was in LCTs at that time.  I would also love to hear from anyone who knows about the LCTs from the time they were built until 1956.  We took some of them out of reserve at Llanelli.
