I am trying to find out some information on Leading Seaman P. Brady who was awarded the DSM for his actions during the St Nazaire Raid of WW2. He was on ML443, as was my father from No.2 Commando. I have recently found a note from my late father which I would like to pass to him, or his relatives. Any help or advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks
added on 31/12/08 : in addition to the above the London Gazette entry for the award of the DSM to this seaman has the following reference after his name "  P/MV.37  ". Can anyone tell me what this might refer to. Believe it or not the LG cannot and to date after numerous calls to navy and mod offices I am still none the wiser.
